Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Gilad Enterprises ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile game PULSE1 (the "App") and our websites (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information we collect
PULSE1 does not require an account and we do not collect your real name, email address, or contact information through the App. The information collected falls into these categories:
1.1 Advertising data (collected by Google AdMob)
The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect:
- Device identifiers, including the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) — only if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt — and the Identifier for Vendors (IDFV);
- Device information, such as device model, operating system version, language, and mobile carrier;
- IP address and coarse location derived from it;
- Ad interaction data, such as ad impressions, clicks, and engagement with ad content;
- Behavioral data used by Google to estimate ad relevance, where you have consented to tracking.
Google's collection and use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
1.2 App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
On iOS, the App uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. On first launch, you will be asked whether to allow tracking. If you select "Ask App Not to Track," the IDFA is not made available to us or to Google, and you will receive contextual (non-personalized) ads instead of personalized ads. The App is fully functional either way, and your choice can be changed at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
1.3 Game data
- Gameplay data (scores, depth records, in-game currency, streaks) is stored locally on your device.
- PULSE1 Top 100: if your score qualifies and you choose to post it, we collect the display name you enter and your score to operate the public Top 100 leaderboard. Do not enter your real name if you do not want it shown publicly.
- Game Center: if you are signed in to Apple's Game Center, your alias and leaderboard scores are processed by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive your Apple ID.
1.4 Website data
Our websites may use Google AdSense, which uses cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
2. How we use information
- To display advertising, which is the sole means by which the App is monetized;
- To measure ad performance and prevent invalid ad activity;
- To operate leaderboards through PULSE1 Top 100 and Apple Game Center;
- To maintain, debug, and improve the Services.
3. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with:
- Google LLC (AdMob/AdSense), as an advertising partner, as described above;
- Hosting and database providers that process Top 100 leaderboard names and scores on our behalf;
- Apple Inc. (Game Center, App Store), as platform provider;
- Authorities, where required by applicable law.
4. Data retention
- Gameplay data stored on your device remains until you delete the App.
- Top 100 leaderboard names and scores remain while they qualify for the leaderboard or until we remove them for moderation, abuse prevention, service maintenance, or a valid deletion request.
- Advertising data collected by Google is retained according to Google's retention policies; ad-interaction logs are generally anonymized or deleted by Google within 9–18 months.
5. Your rights
5.1 All users
- Opt out of tracking: decline or revoke tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Limit personalized ads: adjust your preferences at Google Ads Settings.
- Delete local data: delete the App to remove all locally stored gameplay data.
- Remove a Top 100 entry: contact us with the leaderboard display name and score you want removed.
5.2 European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. The legal bases for processing are consent (personalized advertising, Art. 6(1)(a)) and legitimate interest (non-personalized advertising and fraud prevention, Art. 6(1)(f)). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
5.3 California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information. To the extent that the transmission of device identifiers to advertising partners constitutes "sharing" under the CPRA, you may opt out by declining the App Tracking Transparency prompt or by contacting us at the address below.
6. Children's privacy
The App is rated 4+ on the App Store but is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Services, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
7. Security
The App stores gameplay data locally on your device and transmits advertising and leaderboard data over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we rely on the platform security of iOS and the safeguards of our partners, Google, Apple, and our hosting/database providers.
8. International transfers
Advertising data processed by Google may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries. Google maintains safeguards for such transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses and participation in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this URL, with the effective date shown at the top. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date.
